Speech bubble frame
A new frame style puts a SCAN ME callout above your QR code. Change the label to anything up to 16 characters. Start from the Speech Bubble template or pick it in the Frame tab.

There is a new frame style: Speech bubble. A rounded card sits around the code, and a bubble above it points down at it with a short call to action. The default label is SCAN ME.
A bare QR code on a poster is easy to walk past. A label telling people what they get, like "MENU" or "FREE WI-FI", gives them a reason to take out their phone.
Two ways to use it:
- Start from the template. Open Speech Bubble and the frame, label, and black-and-white colors are already set.
- Add it to a design you have. In the editor, open the Frame tab, turn on Enable frame, and pick Speech bubble under Frame style.
Type into the Label field to change the text. It holds up to 16 characters and the preview updates as you type. Keep it short: "SCAN ME", "MENU", "WI-FI", or "BOOK NOW" are easier to read than a sentence, especially on printed material.
Padding, Border Width, Corner radius, and Border Color in the same tab work with the speech bubble the same way they do with the rectangle frame. The bubble does not cover any part of the code, so scanning works the same as it does without a frame.
